Mark Howden appeared in the Supreme Court of Queensland on behalf of a man charged with the production of cannabis sativa.  The drug was grown using a hydroponic set up in a shed.  The man was sentenced to 12 months imprisonment and the Judge ordered that his parole release date be fixed immediately.  A comparative decision relied on was R –v- Armstrong [2007] QCA427.
